That song has been stuck in my head for the whole day. ever since i saw Jake Shimabukuro perform live saturday night. it was amazing to see such an amazing talent live. if you blink you would miss his strumming, his fingers are so fast, so precise. yet the sound coming from his uke is so gentle. im sorry im kinda geeking out here but it really was an amazing show. i cant even describe it. saturday night's show was the 5th time i saw Jake live: twice at school, once at a festival, and two concerts[one of those being saturday night's show]. the first concert i saw was an intimate gathering in the small Mccoy theatre, it was just Jake and his uke. This time exactly one year later he was in the castle theatre playing for upwards of 2,000 people, with a live band accompaniment. i am utterly at a loss for words. nothing i can say can describe how much i admire Jake for his work and his live shows. he's one of the main reasons i still play the uke today. everytime i watch him i learn something that i try to apply to my music. i never get tired of hearing the intricate picking of "Dragon", the gentle soothing melody of "touch", and the mastery of "gently weeps".

Jake thank you so much
for being a performer, a teacher, and a hero

Oh your god...

Just a warning. If you are coming over to my house to preach mormonism or whatever occult thing your into, ill be nice on the outside but in my mind ill be thinking about burning you in hell myself. Geez you guys are so fucking annoying. why not be happy with what you have and just let everyone be happy the way they are living their lives. Dont push things onto other people just because your god says so. fuck man and what about the people who have their own faiths? i swear next time one comes over to my house im gonna screw with em so bad. while their preaching to me the moment they say god im gonna drop to the floor and pretend to have a seizure....
